Amazon Prime ogłosiło, że powstaje aktorski serial Fallout w lipcu 2020 roku. Od tamtego czasu nie zostały podane żadne oficjalne i konkretne informacje na ten temat. Wielu fanów zastanawiało się, czy serial nadal powstaje i czy projekt nie został po cichu odwołany. Jednak jak ostatnio podały serwisy Deadline i Variety zdjęcia do aktorskiego Fallouta mają ruszyć w tym roku. Pozycje showrunnerów obejmą Geneva Robertson-Dworet (znana z Kapitan Marvel) and Graham Wagner (serial Silicon Valley). Za to producentami wykonawczymi mają być twórcy serialu Westworld – Jonathan Nolan i Lisa Joy. Brat Christophera Nolana dodatkowo zajmie się reżyserią pierwszego odcinka. Na razie nie są znane żadne szczegóły dotyczące fabuły czy obsady. Nie wiadomo też jak ściśle serial będzie związany z grami.
